On Saturday 23rd August Topic Records will celebrate the label's 75th anniversary with a very special concert at Towersey Festival. Towersey Festival celebrate their 50th festival this summer - so it will be a double celebration.

The afternoon will be centred around a rare appearance from Norma Waterson and the Gift Band. Musical Director Eliza Carthy is planning to re-visit lots of material recorded for Topic over the last few decades with a dream-team of collaborators. Expect appearances from Eliza's Mum and Dad, Fay Hield, Lau, Blair Dunlop and many more.

Towersey Village Festival is an annual festival of folk and world music and traditional dance held in the village of Towersey in Oxfordshire, England. It has taken place every August bank holiday weekend since its founding in 1965. The festival attracts approximately 10,000 people each year.
